Someone posted a bad deals thread so Scott was forced to reply within 24 hours.
He did so. His response was basically "have you contacted me directly?"

Yeah that was easy. More about battery warranties though. What about the shipping service refunds? Someone posted on Carb that Scott has a refund queue and they were number 9 in it. How does this queue work? Does he wait for new orders to refund past ones? He seems to be reading our posts but not responding. How is this allowed again? Would the forums be seen as complicit in allowing this to continue in case it goes further?
Can anyone believe this refund queue after all the other lies?

The process of a Bad deal was initiated.
Scott acknowledged (24hrs to settle)
No resolution or feedback from Friday till now.
Scott was given the benefit of the doubt of 2 more days but still nothing.
Banned as per standard Carb rules - bad seller / scammer behaviour.

afaik you can't because liquidation has to result in the final de-registration of the company. Which means its number will not be re-used. You could prob re-register the name in future but the company no will def differ.
Congrats to Carbonite for doing the right thing.

That's simply not true.
Most often they'll take your statement and open a case.
Does it happen sometimes that they don't understand what is the actual crime? Sure.
Will the case go anywhere? Probably not.
Will it go anywhere if nobody opens a case? Nope.
