You must either be extremely naive or have massive balls to resume trading under these circumstances under the same name and expect that everything's just going to be forgotten. The internet never forgets.

I truly hope the customers who were wronged do get their money back, but personally I would not risk doing business with him in the future. Maybe there are some that will and he's business survives but it will be very difficult.

Well if it means "they" can pay back the handful that lost money and those who want a refund for faulty batteries, is it really such a bad thing?

If that was the case wouldn't that have been stated by now, I think legally that would need to be stated as much, that the company is trading under business rescue?

Vaguely implying that is the case is just more smoke and mirrors from SSS, just like the liquidation that ran for 6 months and then hey presto we never got liquidated. I highly doubt any formal business recuse has been entered into, lawyers running a business rescue is very costly and SSS was not large enough to have sufficient residual assets to cover anything of that nature, he was just a one man band or not much bigger, working from home. I would wager this is just another rouse from SSS like the false claims of liquidation to obfuscate things and put people off the trail.

Yet the Scott account is online and reading these threads.

If it was a lawyer trying to "jumpstart the business again" wouldn't they address all the accusations? Come forth with information and put it to bed so that the business can actually restart?

Also, what kind of lawyer is out here trying to run a shipping+battery business? Do lawyers actually do that kind of thing?
