I have a screamer connection that has been up and running for the past 2 months, I live in a complex. My brother lives in the same complex and lives next door to me. He has decided to install a screamer connection as well and this was done about 2 day's ago and this is where our problems have started.

When ever he is connected I am unable to connect, after about 20min he gets disconnected and I can connect. Note we are not on the same LAN segment and the connecions are treated as 2 independent connections.

I have tried to contact the installer plus Screamer technical but everyone is cluless. I have provided them with the error logs from the CPE device but they are cluless. The error I receive from the CPE is as follows "wlan1:failed to connect, on 2497, association failed: unable to handle more stations(17).

The helpdesk is utterly useless, no one answers the phone, the installer is adament it is a hardware issue but canot offer any advice, has promised to have a look but I am still waiting. Screamer is living up to its name, I have read before of no customer service, perhaps they need a Ad campaign from Trevor Noah, a New CEO, who can deliver.

Please please please come to the party, its not like I am not paying for this.

Looks like the AP has reached maximum number of connected stations (normally 30)......should be a 2 second fix if they using Mikrotik

Hi, thx for response

Do they have to fix it or can I ? Asking them to do anything is a total mission as noted they clueless

If I am correct, then they will need to make the change on the highsite. Doubt there is anything you can do from your side. I'm sure they will sort you out soon

Thx - I hope so :) appreciate your feedback

I have had a few altercations with screamer and I think I know what your problem is.

As far as I am aware there a separate wlan connection for each user. In my case we have a delmas1 & delmas2. Mine connects to delmas1. It sounds to me that your technician setup your brothers connection to connect to the sam wlan as yours, and as this is point-to-point only one connection per wlan. See where I am going with this. Check on your router & your brothers router to which wlan you are connecting. It should be different.

Log in with winbox and check under interfaces.

Hi

I had access to the CPE via Winbox but now the installer removed the password, so I can't really troubleshoot the problem any more. Installer came out and set he has changed the High site but my problem still exist's. Caleld Screamer helpdesk and the agent says he cannot help as he does not have any technical know how. I really really regret signing with Screamer.
