Screamer WiMax

so ... :D

i got my gamemax account today and together with my screamer connection im steady at 240ms ;p
 
i am still debating about the gamermax thing..
:)

daaamn 2 days no wow connection ..... :)
 
anyone in fourways area having a problem connecting to Screamer ?

had to use company 3G card to get onto internet :(
 
Connection has been really poor today. Seems to be fine within the Screamer domain but fails outside of it. Have there been problems with Neotel or SAIX?
 
If anyone wants to get away from Screamers stupid broken transparent proxy, PM me and I'll give you the IP for my US cache.
 
I guess I am a very critical person - perhaps get some QC on the website. I can't get the coverage map to work; when i click on New Comprehensive Coverage Listing i get a page to stick "stuff" on my car...

I seriously suggest a rethink/redesign of the website!!

Perhaps you can tell me here - is there coverage in President Park; Midrand??

I agree - the website is far from useful. Easier to pick up the phone ...
 
It sure is!! However, i find in general that a LOT of South African companies neglect their website or do not see it as being very important. Just yesterday I sent an email to 2 companies regarding printing on vinyl. Based on the requirements it was easier to be detailed in the email and not have to repeat what i am saying. I am YET to receive a response.
 
Oh before i forget and become "slack" the site still says 12c/mb but home page says 6c/mb - or it is read the fine print??
 
Whats even more incredible, is that Screamer's Microwave links don't use waves!

They've clearly got superior technology, which doesn't use waves to do radio transmissions.
 
Like surfing without a surfboard?? Hmmm... perhaps they have a dude with a wheel barrow delivering the packets? At least, and i hope management doesn't read this (G companies etc), they don't charge us 28c/pkt!!! ;)

Hi Shearder
There is cover in President park. We have just "upgraded" our website and there are still some teething problems. Thanks for the commentary.
 
Hi Guys

We monitored a few disconnects on the European WOW servers last night and 3 today.
We are in contact with them to find out what is going on.
