Screamer WiMax

Pity. Was a good source of support and information to keep us up to date.

I mean lets be honest, most users who demand more than "oh , i have a email today from mumzy and oooh browse facebook"
are on here who need to have the lowest latency , packet loss all the time.

Howzit is doing a Ghostcrawler and leaving the forums it seems ....

My connection has been damn good for the last week (suffer from the occasional disconnection - seems to be life with WiMax).

Weirdly enough the connection is more stable when I reroute it through a proxy in Europe but not sure why.

Playing Warcraft I get the following atm:
* "Normal" connection: 450-600ms :( depending on time of the day.
* Latency changes in registry: 300-400 ms
* Proxy tunnel: 230-300ms :)

Ran wow arena last night and had one disconnect in 3 hours with an average latency of approx. 300ms.

Really good untill this evening, no connection at all. An issue at one of the towers with nobody at the call cente having a clue whats going on or when it will be fixed.

The call centre has NEVER given me any information of value. Screamer needs to address sooner rather than later.

last night wow was not to shabby avg was about 500ms with it been as low as 250ms
raiding 25man naxx was awsome...

What's up with the Neotel link these last two days? It has been ridiculously bad in the evenings ....

Ping statistics for 209.85.227.103:
Packets: Sent = 167, Received = 151, Lost = 16 (9% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

*****SIGH*****

Well thing is , last night at about 7PM it got really bad , so i check the performance monitoring tool and notice the best Rx Rate is what it normally is at : QAM64 but the last Tx Rate is now only BPSK instead of QAM.

I phone tech support and apparently the tower at Mount road has packet loss from his side as well. feh , i really dont know.

I noticed the same - was horrible again this evening from 21:45 to 22:30.

Rest of the time it was ok.

edit: current stats

Ping statistics for 94.229.66.54:

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

Time to sleep .....

Which performance monitoring tool are you referring to? The only way that I can get this information is if I plug directly into the IDU.

I do connect directly to the IDU since a router isn't needed as my desktop is the only PC that requires internet access :/

i had to 2 disconnects @ about midnight and one @ 1am this morning.
had to reset my router to get connected again
