Screamer WiMax

I have been disconnected since about 8:30pm last night.

Looking into the performance monitoring of the IDU shows that my signal is really poor. I can only guess that the high winds have caused my antennae or the base station to be unaligned.

If true, they did a very crappy job on putting up the antennae... but I suspect it's not. Wireless companies tend to enjoy changing configurations to their antennae as they please.

iBurst and Sentech are prime examples, one day you have coverage, the other day not so much... won't suprise me if Screamer adjusted the antenna so that they could cover some other spot with more clients ...

Still cant authenticate onto the network (Password invalid on the domain) :/ right.

Signal strength fluctuating as well ... sigh

Still not connected on my side - hoping to get someone out to my premises to check the signal :/
This might sound like a stupid question.. but have you actually called support and told them about your problem?

Yes - phoned them on Saturday and Sunday. Left messages for the technicians whose numbers I know etc etc

Eventually spoke to one of the senior technicians this morning and he confirmed that there are several people having this problem (that connect to the Mnt Rd Station).

Still waiting ....

Most problems resulted but my uplink is really poor - seems like there is signal interference with some other companies in the area.

Waiting for resolution.

Other companies? IE: the guys who actually own the spectrum? *cough*sentech*cough*
