Thanks - any estimate on turnaround time (expected or actual)?
Erm......this is ICASA...
aah ... so that means it will be done soon?![]()
For sure, within the next 6-9 years you will definitely see an improvement! GOOD LUCK!
I monitor all my routes. It was down from 22:21:51 to 01:59:27
Probably got nailed by the storm
bad latency in wow tonight again...
was fine till about 20:45 then my ping went from 300 to 1300 and i could not stay connected for a whole fight and when i was online i would get horrible lag spikes....
decided to run a continuous ping to both 172.17.0.10 and 196.25.27.90 for 30min while doing nothing special in wow and still randomly DC'ing i would DC or get big lag spikes on every request timeout.
i've got the full log if someone wants but here are the summaries.
Ping statistics for 172.17.0.10:
Packets: Sent = 964, Received = 892, Lost = 72 (7% loss)
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 32ms, Maximum = 390ms, Average = 45ms
Ping statistics for 196.25.27.90:
Packets: Sent = 697, Received = 643, Lost = 54 (7% loss)
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 32ms, Maximum = 391ms, Average = 46ms
We have some fairly advanced spectrum analyser type equipment which we use. We pinpoint the offending aerials and then notify ICASA.
2 weeks later we do the same thing ad nauseum
nope tonight its fine again ran a ping from 7 till now, 0% packet loss.
sent an email to support last night, the guys probably fixed it![]()
Ok cool.
Does this service still work in bad weather?
Hi
Apart from a direct lightning strike that can damage the equipment, bad weather has absolutely no affect on the network.
