Screamer WiMax

Well, mine's been hundreds...

I kinda get the feeling they allocate the decent bandwidth to newest customers and whoever shouts the loudest, then 1 month later you're back at the bottom of the pool.
 
Ok I will need to check it myself tonight and see how it handles with WoW.
 
Quick question, I am looking into Vodacom Wimax as Shaun Green peaked my interest on it, I heard they using Telkom Wimax Infrastructure. Anyone know if this is correct.

I have stopped shouting - guess that's why my connection is poor ...
 
Hi.. Getting a lot of delay on normal browsing will work OK for say 3 minutes then it stop working for say 1 minute the OK for a bit and so forth started yesterday and the whole of today and still doing it.... Any idea why? or when it will be fixed?

Same here - started yesterday or the day before.
 
Ok... why since i have upgraded to 1mbps uncapped from 10GB cap... is my speed now absolutely nothing? getting 0.3 - 0.4 constantly on speedtest.net...

and this is via an SSL connection???

I am getting so sick of this poooooor connection I will be pulling through my OWN cables so that I can get HELLKOM...
 
I was promised that they would get extra bandwidth in this week to sort out the crap speed and latency everyone is getting. I will be testing it this weekend again. If I am not satisfied and there is no change, I am cancelling my account and going to Vodacom Wimax. I heard they use a good blend of Seacom/Saix for their upstream.

Noone from Screamer is replying to my PM's and emails over the last week or so :(
 
Has anyone got feedback from Screamer or Howzit, not seen them for ages or heard anything. Its starting to piss me off.

Howzit is notorious for disappearing when things get a bit heated in here. Don't hold your breath. He'll be back when everything's fixed and you've all cooled off.
 
did some toc10 and icc 10 yesterday.
Sofar not to bad. avg latency was 400ms with a spike up to 700ms. Raided from about 7pm till about 2am this morning so not to bad for latency i guess

Did you experience any upstream issues ? (I.E perfect latency but hardly any repsonse from WoW). On a personal note how far did u manage to go with raiding for so long ? Hope you took on the king of liches !
 
Cancelled my Screamer installation today based on all the negative comments here.
My Xbox Live account will just have to keep collecting dust until Telkom decides I'm worthy of ADSL..
 
upstream seemed fine response from wow last night was fine.
were busy on the second wing at the moment in ICC.
not far but were basically on farm mode with these guys getting some members geared up.
will see if we decide to move on tonight..
 
Looks like i need to start shouting again cause tonight its just pure fail lag again.
 
Can't wait to get rid of this SHIZZ...

15kb/s HTTP SSL download... nice from a Paid Download Service Site...

always got FULL speed at TELKOM... and I really hated them... so where does that leave... SCREAMER...
 
Hey everyone,

Don't know what is going on but nowhere can I "log-in". I cannot log in to any website. Maybe it is an https problem?
