Typical, things get fixed and my raid gets cancelled :( Yeah played around a bit yesterday things seemed hokay. Well except the non existant DNS issue.

Hi, what "non existent DNS issue"?
 
Is it just me or did Screamers Wimax unlimited pricing go up overnight? I am sure when I checked yesterday it cost R600 for an uncapped 384kb connection and the equipment. I went today (to order) and see that it is now R549 just for the data, and the equipment rental option has been replaced by the once-off fee only.

This sucks because I was literally about to place my order :(

Well as CDA points out here, we had to use Google's public DNS before we could do any form of browsing.

No what I say is that Screamer are handing out Google's DNS servers as their own.

I also REALLY need to know why Screamer has no connectivity to the WHOLE of MTN???

these dns servers work well on screamer and the ping to them is really good

Primary: 168.210.2.2
Secondary: 196.14.239.2

My Screamer connection from the Northcliff tower has been down now for 48 hours. No response from support.

Anybody else feel this "upgrade" has been poorly managed? And, anybody else becoming just a little tired of not being able to get any support?

Howzit, can I make a recomendation? Please rename your support department to "F_ck you" so us customers know where we stand. Thanks.
 
cda rather work through Danie then things might come right. I still dont have a working static ip wich i am paying R35 per month for since last year december and the screamer support just dont care, i wish screamer would go to vodacom or IS and get a crash course on professionality,

Any clients connecting should now have a public IP on a 41. Range, if you don’t have one then first reset the CPE, anyone that has an IP and cannot connect should check their DNS settings. DNS should be 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 this should be loaded on PC’s and routers as well as if a client is using a server. if you continue to have connection problems then please PM me with your account no and we will call you.

Now that the IP is public, is it possible to make use of the static IP on the router itself as apposed to the current NAT solution? ....or are you guys still getting to that?
