Apart from the obvious "X is better than Y", I was hoping someone could provide some insight into this.
Are there limits to what humans can perceive in terms of numbers of colours? If so, do the sizes of the pixels and the size of the actual display play a role in determining this?
I see a lot of phones these days that are relatively "high end" with only 65 K colour displays. How noticeable would you say this is compared to a 16 M colour display?
