Hi,

Can anyone recommend an online store that sells good quality (and reasonably priced) screen protectors for iPads?

Also, some tips on putting them on...tried 6 in 1 packs from Amazon (real el cheapo's) and they always bubble somewhere.

Advice appreciated.

Dont worry about a screen guard just put a cover that protects the display like the smart cover/case

Thanks, have a smart cover type case but also have a 11 month old son....looking for a little added protection for the screen in case he decides to try to pry out the "jack in the box" with a spoon. :p

No, I'm looking for the same thing. I have a crystal case and a screen protector but it keeps bubbling in the one corner.... very frustrating.

Google 'how to apply a screen protector' or check on YouTube. There's a good one from cnet, but I'd go with the hinge method.

Although, getting it on bubble free on an iPad is going to be really tricky.

On a cold day turn the shower up, wait for the place to steam up then apply it. I've been told that takes most of the particles out of the air. The little dust particles cause bubbles that can not be rubbed out.

I also spray the cover with filtered water before applying it. It makes it much easier to rub the bubbles out. I'm a little OCD so would rather kill the device than have a bubble under the film. Sanity ftw.

www.takealot.com is pretty good.

Get a screen protector made by "Moshi", they're a bit thicker, but you wont have bubble issues. Its also re-usable (wash and re-apply).

Thanks for the tip. Will give it a try.

Thanks. Haven't seen these around yet. Will keep my eye out. The re-usable bit sounds idiot proof...even if I do land up with some bubbles.

From my experience there is a difference between the cheap ebay/amazon ones, compared to the more expensive ones like Moshi,
i have used a screen protector made by Cygnett, although pricey but well worth it. didnt get any bubbles when installing it.

Have you tried the 2 pack from Bodyglove ? You can buy them from game for R150 ? They are of good quality. Good luck !
