SEACOM construction finished!

49 days till.. well, less congestion excuses.

great news.... now to see how quickly those 'promised' speed increases, and of course, price reductions, will filter through to us users.
Guess its gonna take a few months?
Lets hope the network & service providers pass on the cost savings to us asap.
At least, the mere fact that this project is "on schedule" is encouraging!

Hay further highlighted that this testing will involve the full system – from the Neotel point-of-presence in Midrand to international destinations.
That's the clincher! Suddenly Neotel will be able to really provide.

Great news - I'm sure all the ISP's are watching each other very closely. Who'll be the first to take a chance and drop prices? Then we'll see a reaction from all the others.

I would love to jump up and down and kiss my dog now...but I will try to contain myself untill I see the first test results and product offering from the likes of Neotel, heck, maybe even from iBurst.

But good news indeed, we've been waiting for this for quite a while now.

Don't mind me, I'll just be borrowing this internet pipe for a little while.. ahem... :D
