Thanks a million man! I appreciate it a lot! I haven't yet got the drive to flash. Still getting the error saying that the specified device is not detected. Will take it to a PC-tech friend of mine tomorrow to see if he can get it flashed and work from that tips on that site you gave me! I don't really care if I don't get the HDD back, I only want my data back. I have extreme important projects,actuarial simulations and reports that I really need to get back!

*edit* That looks really complicated, will have somebody who really knows what they're doing have a look at trying that on my drive...
