Dear @Snyper564 ,

I heard that you are now the forum guru in golfing.

I would like to start a bit of golfing here in the midlands.

But I am cheapskate. Not that I skate very well.

What is the most affordable options available to me to start golfing and get a golf set or couple of golf clubs.

Your valuable input will be appreciated.

Yours Savagely,

ArVee

Especially his 150 psp series you only need a few clubs don't over do it. I'm still using my 50 year old irons.

Also please try lessons from a proper coach if possible. The swing techniques have been game changing for me. Friends messing up shots all the time and they don't have basic swing techniques down. Every time I take a shot I reset and go to basics

I'd still borrow one first and play a few rounds.
Or play with a friend that has a set and share it.

Or start off with something like this.
If the bug bites the CUD will kick in, in any case, and if not it'll gather dust in the garage.

I used shade netting and then doubled up on back net 10000 balls later still the same. I just don't drive at home only iron work
I have also set up a home practice net previously. Can confirm, works great for hitting irons, but driver will eventually go through. I would love to get a decent setup going again, with some proper foam/mat behind the net that will allow woods & driver, but that gets expensive.

Also for safety with the outside cage, make sure you have some side-netting going.... just take my word for it... neighbours do NOT appreciate threats on their life (apparently)

Golfers Club and The Proshop usually stock used sets. The advantage js getting professional advise on purchasing a set that suits you.
