Any outdoor camera should be water resistant. My IOMU PoE cameras all are.

There are more accessible options, but I bought into the TP-Link VIGI link ecosystem (now banned by the US). I am happy with my contraband.

Anyhow, the US ban on TP-Link products is only applicable to new TP-Link products that aren't made in or supported by China. There is more to it, but I am not going into that.

I know plenty who have Hikvision setups, amongst other brands. Just avoid the brands who are essentially no-name.

There is a distance limit
Also, the signal for wi-fi cameras cannot penetrate more than one wall as a rule
Placing it as high as possible helps

I have put a cover, not a metal one, over 2 that is always in the sun, and expose to rain. Works well.
