Self-testing breath alcohol kits available Engen outlets

Self-testing breath alcohol kits are now available at 400 Engen outlets, the fuel company said on Tuesday.

The statement followed confusion earlier this month over a premature Arrive Alive announcement that the disposable kits were already on sale.

Depends on whether it gives a reading in units or just a pass/fail indication. None of the bigger Engens in KZN have these yet, I was hoping to get some for a Christmas dinner I'm hosting.

Yeah, no doubt, but I wouldn't trust an el-cheapo toy from Engen to accurately predict what the police testing kit would say.

I use a great alcohol test. If you see double, don't drive. If you can open your car door in under two minutes without dropping your keys every 10 seconds, you're safe. When the ugliest girls of the party suddenly look beautiful, you're in trouble and its time to dial a friend.
