Sorry the card is no longer for sale. It's like selling a great piece of hardware to people that know absolutely nothing about it...Kinda like selling a great bottle of wine to a person that doesn't know the difference between coffee and tea...it's morally wrong and I can't get it over my heart to sell good stuff to people that don't know what they're getting - they don't deserve it.

No offence, but isn't R3300 asking a bit much when you can get a new 7900GT which performs about the same if not better for R3000?
 
The 7900GT does NOT perform better than the 7800GTX...I did my homework on this one...it is lower in performance, but not by much. Example:

3DMark06....7900GT = 4100, 7800GTX = 4600

Granted this 7800GTX is not standard, it's the extreme edition from XFX and runs faster than a normal 7800GTX. Maybe I should just get another one then and run in SLi. Thanks for the input

BF2 Scores : 63.1/66.5
Doom III : 46/47.5
Fear : 33/34
HL2 LC : 32.2/32.1
3Dmark 2k6 : 4480/4525

So it seems the 7900GT is equal to or better than the 7800GTX 256MB.

I dont know hey but I think asking R3300 for that card might be a bit much. For R2900 it would be better seeing as it is second hand.
 
Did you not read the fact that the XFX 7800GTX is NOT running at standard clock speeds? But thanks for your un-informed input...you've actually helped me prove my point. By posting the scores of a standard 7800GTX and showing how close a 7900GT compares to it, it should make it clear as freaking daylight that my XFX 7800GTX is indeed faster.

Cut your nose to spite your face kinda scenario hey? Anyways...go and buy your 7900GT...I'll outperform it any day of the week.

Fair enough the XFX XXX or whatever will be a little faster but it doesnt mean you can ask more for a used slightly faster card.

The other thing is the 7900GT's overclock well from what I heard and there is someone on this board who was selling NEW XFX Extreme 7900GT's for R2795.

I don’t mean to hijack the thread..... But I've got 20 arriving on Monday.... Once those are gone I can’t guarantee prices...

no offence dude but that is BS!!!!
My Gainward 7900GT scores 4674(http://img173.imageshack.us/my.php?image=3dmark06turbo2fw.jpg) or something with a slow CPU and nooo overclocking, and thats only a 256 and you can get 512 7900GTs for R2999(prophecy).
 
mr anderson just because no one wants to buy your second hand rubbish so you can buy the 7900 gt dont get a fanny wobble man


remember once you open hardware its second hand

you see your trying to sell your card to ppl who know alot and thats why we know your ripping us off

go sell it to some primary school kid who doesnt know your ripping him off :)

3300 for that card is a joke whahahahahahahahah

Try the Cape Ads or Junkmail or whichever classifieds paper in your area. You'll probably get that price there as they aren't as well informed as
the hardware section forumites :D

PS. I had my FX5500 listed for R600 (new it was R600 @ that stage) in the Cape Ads and received numerous calls for it. I eventually flogged it for R400 to a colleague.

i didn't know we can great a thread to sell cards. if so i like to sell me soltec ati radeon x600pro 128bit 128ram pci-e(all packaging incuded) for R650 and my gigabyte ati radeon x700pro 128bit 128ram pci-e(all packaging incuded except the one game i got with the card"thief deadly showdows. lost the game. this card is about 2 mouths old. still got like 2year warrenty on it. had one before an it broke so they replaced it. thats way its 2 month old) for R900

why im selling...wel i want a 7900gt aswell...send me a pm or e-mail if your interested. we can bargin..:D

PS to ADMINISTRATOR if we are not aloud to do this then please remove the thread
 
Um.. you guys read one benchmark and take it as the bible... you have internet... use it... 7800GTX stock... is faster than a 7900GT stock.

:)
