im on my second one and it just with its sync issues, loses sync randomly.. lost sync 26 times in 2 hours on friday
not the line, got a mecer USB i borrowed from a friend and it doesnt lose sync at all...

This one is only two weeks old...

Sync problems with 2 routers...is it not your line maybe? much cheaper to replace since Telkom needs to do it :p

Only thing that i see missing from the new firmware that well i miss is the uptime report the old firmware has.

Nope... Last time I had a call open with them for two weeks, they had a guy out there with a Telkom modem and it didnt lose sync once, so I replaced the netgear that week, the new one didnt give any issues until 2 weeks later, when the new one started losing sync...

I'm currently using my friends USB Mecer, and it hasnt dropped once since I started using it..
