Hi Guys, I was on this forum before then lost my Username and also had lots of things happening in my life.

I was running on an old Windows XP latop with my Vodacom SIM plugged into an old Cell C Dongle with which I surfed the Web or e-mails etc.

If I wanted to find out how much of my contract data was available I could send a USSD from the Cell C utility ie.
*111# then 1 then 1 and I would receive all my balances.

With my SIM card inserted into my now dead Samsung 7 inch Tablet with which I could make phone calls I could simply phone *111# and follow the prompts...same if I install this Voda SIM into my MTN Samsung Smartphone.

I now have this Voda SIM inserted into a new Laptop with Windows 10 (Yech!).

This Sim is using the installed adapter and I cannot find a Dashboard for it so as to be able to send USSD commands.

I have just now loaded Ginng's MDMA which I did use in the old days but sending UUSD *111# fails.

I am obviously missing something basic here but I am not familiar with built-in adapters and Windows 10 (Yech!).......I am also very old!

Hi,

Go to the Vodacom website and register on the My Vodacom portal. You can then check your data bundle size from the portal. You can also register multiple SIMs on one My Vodacom account. Much easier than USSD.

Alternatively, get two Advinne SIMs that are on the same account. You can share a data bundle between your phone and laptop, and use USSD from your phone to check the data bundle.
