Lolz, so does my Essence, but it's more like less than 300Ohms. Can't drive HD650's properly. ;) Would need an amp for sure. Good joke though!
 
I had to send my Sennheiser HD280 Pro's in for repair recently and their support was really top notch, really impressed which as you know is very hit and miss in SA.

Don't have one at the moment but are saving up for one as it will be my next purchase. Any recommendations for an affordable card that is worth to buy? What price range are one looking at?

Asus Xonar U3 is quite nice. With amp. Portable too (USB).

Asus Xonar DG PCI (also has an amp).

Anything really, since your 'phones are 50Ohm - they'll sound good with an un-amped sound card. Not at their best though. ;)

Of course, if you can save up (and find) a Xonar Essence ST/X, that'd be my pick.
