Sentech maintains WiMax spectrum use is illegal

Hmmm

Ok So lets all start using the same spectrum in areas where screamer operates and effectively jam the Screamer signal.

Then let us see if screamer complains to Icasa

:p

IF its illegal then why does SENTECH not block that frequecy or is there skullduggery amongst this

I sincerely hope that Screamer come out of all this negative publicity and that they speed up their formal statement making. Their product and service sound really good.

It must be having an effect on new customers (it has made me stick with ADSL)

The nearest thing to block that is possible is to transmit a stronger signal, probably noise... Which is like replacing speed cameras with speed landmines...

“Sentech previously had a relationship with GWI which we terminated on 4 October 2007,” said Modiko.

now that is interesting
and marks a departure from previous denials that any such relationship exists
given that admission it would seem highly likely that Sentech is / was not compliant with the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
mybb may want to try and get comment from the DoC ...

They are basically giving their clients a two month notice... Pretty decent... :p

Sentech previously indicated that if Screamer Telecoms is using its broadband spectrum, it is illegal. Screamer Telecoms would not elaborate on any potential agreement it has with Sentech, merely saying that a comprehensive statement would be released on MyBroadband within the next two months.

As much as I try to maintain some semblance of objectivity in this matter, I have to agree that there's only one sensible response...

... Popcorn :D

It couldn't have happened to a nicer couple ;)
