Sentech receives R500m broadband boost

I have never been more angry. Half a billion Rand down the tubes. They should rather have subsidised WISPs or something to get connectivity out there instead of wasting money by investing in a company that is just pathetic.

This just goes to show (once again) the level of our government's incompetence. Neotel will soon roll out CDMA2000, Vodacom will soon roll out WiMax, we've got HSDPA and iBurst... who was the idiot who decided that we need ANOTHER wireless service?

Who, oh WHO is going to switch to Sentech??? This is a BIG waste of money!

This will go the same way as MyWireless, mark my words.
 
Why not spend the money on laying more fibre? What is the point of having all these wireless service providers with no backhaul??
