Am trying to get http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_African_English to open to compare the two languages. According to google, Sepedi does not even have a wikipedia entry.
As I remember, our previous government, enforced Afrikaans on its victims till the guavamint took control of the country. Did the previous government oppress 100% of the population, or only 75%?
As far as that debate goes, it is finished. Sepedi is a bad idea, Afrikaans also, to a lesser degree. English should be the main language at any academic institution, as graduates do not stay in South-Africa anyway. Sepedi is not spoken in France, as Jozi would testify to that fact.
