I dont know if this is also a dual SIM but I want a SIM to use for my data card so I dont have to remove this sim from my phone everytime I want to connect using my datacard.

I want the sim to link with this one so when a way is found to send and recieve faxes to my e620 it can go to my pc at home and not to this phone as it sometimes do with data calls.

If I supply a prepaid sim can it be set up that way?

Separate Sim For data

Hi. Buy yourself a MTN Pay as You Go Sim pack for between 99c and R6-00 depending on where you buy. Load airtime via internet banking or how ever you choose. Load the airtime and convert to databundle by following the promps phoning 141. Works fine for me for a while now.

@Mav

There are a couple of a ways

Take out a prodata contract and use that sim as your data sim R9,99 a month otherwise wait until March when we launch Dual call 2. Other option you can out and get yourself a prepaid sim.

I got myself a VM sim today. Can you tell me more about the 9.99 prodata thing?

what are the out of bundle data charges? is it the same as the normal charges?
According the data bundles price plans page on MTN's website, here.

The bigger the bundle, the cheaper your out of bundle rate becomes, just like with the SMS bundles.

The columns are a bit weird if you are using Firefox, but you'll figure it out.

Data bundles

I see on the mtn website that data bundles are for GPRS only. Is there such a thing as prepaid data bundles for 3G?:confused:

:eek:
MTNDD, what is dual call2 about???
