Serie a 2010/2011

Very good performance from the boys vs napoli. Loved the way the players celebrated, reminded me a lot about the way they did with mou and mancini. Certainly don't remember anyone ever celebrating with rafa.

Poor result for juve, milan did just enough.

Ya well for RAFA celebrating 1 goal is not good enough... hell even scoring 1 goal in the dying seconds is not good enough - look at Yossi Benayoun's reaction when he scored the winning goal last season and Rafa immediately substitutes him

stefan how do you think spurs will fair against AC now that leonardo has made the switch?

I think it will be a very open game. Both sides are better offensively then they are attacking. I reckon milan will just sneak it by 1 goal over 2 legs.

So we'll probably see about 12 goals then eh?

Amazing how well Inter is doing after Leonardo has taken the reigns...

All down to the man management , the players are happy as can be seen in training and this is being shown on the field. Materrazi's comments yesterday summed it up. When asked about rafa he replied, " a policeman can't drive a f1 car".:D

Difference is Leonardo had the decency to speeak to Jose and not just impose what he thought was best for the team... Jose took Inter and groomed them to a Treble winning team within a few seasons. He did not part on a bad note so why not milk him for ideas and tips?

+1

Ancelotti even said that Mourinho's notes helped him settle into his role at SB much quicker than he would have done without them.

All that idol worshipping went to Rafa's head perhaps

Rafa doesn't have the humility to succeed. He was so intimidated by mou he had pictures of him removed from the training ground when he arrived. Quite contrasting to the way leo talked about both mou and mancio at his introduction press conference.

Btw. javier Zanetti will equal giuseppe bergomi's all time inter appearance record in serie a tomorrow, its his 519th serie a game.

Another good win from leo and the boys. Eto'o was great and milito seems to be getting back to his old self, good goal and great assist for eto'o's first goal. Also got a dig into rafa at the end of the game saying all that was lacking was the confidence of the manager...

hmmm I don't think it was ever a question of Milito losing confidence, it was more Rafa destroying his confidence :D

Good result vs cesena. Not a great performance defensively. Being forced to play matrix really hurt. Had to play him because cordoba got a head knock over the weekend and wasn't 100% and there was confusion whether ranocchia is allowed to play or not since he did play for genoa vs napoli in their round 16 game so the club weren't sure if he could play today in inter's catch up round 16 game. In the end they decided to rather play it safe and not play him since playing an ineligible player means a 3-0 loss. Gap cut to -6 now with one game in hand.

Blimey that was quick...

Now I know it was a good move to replace Benitez, wikipedia says Inter have won 5/5 under Leonardo.
