Series Collection

It becomes an obsession to hoard digital media. Whether it be tv shows, movies, mp3's or games.

I used to do it. Then I ran out of hard drive space...
No, i'm joking. I married and had kids. There is more to life than have jiggabytes full of old tv shows and movies which you more than likely will never watch again and even though some little devil on your shoulder tell you that other people will always want to copy shows and stuff from you its really just a bunch of crap. They dont care.

Every month, I swap out the oldest drive with a newer bigger one and the storage space grows all the time. :D
Friends pop around and copy a Terabyte of stuff at a time to go through at their own leisure.
It's nice to help them out.

I have about 6Tb of series which is catalogued with TVRename.

TVRename is an awesome program that allows selective copying of missing series episodes etc and tons of other features.

Check it out @ http://www.tvrename.com/about.html

I use a customised version that has a few extra features but generally the same as the standard offering.

Im looking for a programme that automatically looks for movies on your drive and then download the related movie poster jpg or png files as well as some kind of synopsis in jpg format. This in order to keep track of all the movies on my drive when browsing the the movie folder on my tv usb or blu ray player. So many movies but i dont have a clue what many of them are about. Unfortunately no xbmc as im viewing on bluray/TV usb. Am I looking for something that doesn't exist?
