I don't really know if this is the appropriate place to ask the question, but I hope so. Sorry if it's not.

I have a PC and a Samsung tablet. Samsung tablet connects to ADSL uncapped internet via wifi, PC connects via cable into the Netgear Router.

Can i setup the router to prioritize internet usage for my tablet? So that when both is connected the tablet get priority to use the internet and then the PC? Like streaming internet radio with my tablet while I'm busy browsing on the internet with my PC and downloading attachments etc. At the moment, the browsing it REALLY fast (as well as the downloading), but the radio streaming is not constant. I would like constant radio streaming, even if the browsing is then slower....

Hope someone can help me and that it is possible!!

If you've got the N300/N600/Nxxx then open your router config in browser, click on the advanced tab, expand Setup on the left, open QoS Setup. Here you want to tick the top 2 boxes and apply. Then click on Set Up QoS Rule. Click on Add Priority rule, select MAC Address for priority category, it should then list all devices connected to the router, select your tablet, change priority to Highest and apply.

Restart your router for good measure and you should be good to go.
