Setup pc with dongle - how to?

Help please.

I have a billion 7300G wireless modem/router and a laptop and access via webafrica.

I now want internet access on my normal pc also, this pc doesnt have a network card so i bought a bluetooth mecer dongle.

I installed the dongle etc but it's not picking up the router so no internet.

I obviously am doing a ton of things wrong or not at all etc.

Can you please tell me step by step how to do it so that I can get the usb dongle to give my pc internet?
 
yeah, bluetooth.
that is where the problem is.

You mean a wireless dongle (looks like bluetooth dongle)..

First run the CD setup for your software which will configure your wireless connection... Then after re-boot, plug-in the dongle. Should pick't up & install the drivers. Then you may use this software to enter the access key for your wireless modem/router... Hey, i'm also an armature in this field, expects will assist shortly
 
I dont know much about these usb network dongles but I wouldnt build a network using that, isnt bluetooths max output 115.2 Kbps, which means you'll be capped at that speed it would be like you have isdn instead of adsl, get yourself a network card theres really no excuses they cost R40 unless you settting up a wireless network then we looking at appx R200-400

nope think he really means bluetooth dongle....

Ylona i have the same router installed it yesterday, i also use a dongle to connect to it from my home pc but it's a DLINK Wireless dongle. hopefully you can exchange that bluetooth one you bought...
