Sex before school shock

Moral decadence in freefall.:erm:

Yeah things today are so bad. No more child slaves, no more Kama Sutra religious practices, no more no education for the youth. Yup... lifes got worse. No.. wait it has not.

Kama Sutra... and Religion.

Now thats an interesting topic to discuss.

It seems to me that many communities are in denial about the reality of sex and the youth, and also about the reality of HIV infection in children, the program to test children for HIV in schools should proceed (albeit with caution and confidentiality and the right support system), to stop this program because parents or children feel uncomfortable about the issue is nonsense.

The time will come when population control becomes an issue and governments realise that unlimited breeding is exactly where poverty and crime first start. When education fails, legislate, put a cap on breeding.

Conservationists talk about culling huge herds of animals and so on, because of sustainability, yet humanity is in denial about the true source of so many of our problems - uncontrolled growth of the poverty sector.

Poverty will never be eradicated as long as we have uncontrolled growth. (in the poverty sector)
Crime will keep increasing as long as we have uncontrolled growth. (in the poverty sector)

This is such a sensitive issue, both religiously and culturally, nobody wants to touch it, and when China did, the world screamed bloody murder, yet the time will come when this issue must be addressed by those now in denial.

I do agree that parents need to start cutting the conservative crap and just talk to their kids. They also need to start getting involved in positively influencing the way their children's schools are run. The aftermath of their inaction is far worse than a few minutes of uncomfortable conversation.

They don't sound very conservative if they let their girls sleep over at boyfriends? Maybe the problem is not being conservative, but not being a parent in the first place?

good post

opposed to sex after school?

They would be less tired.

I think they mistook the whole "liberation before education" with "fornication before education" ...

How much is that? R250??? What the hell can you buy with R250... I cannot believe that there are stories of girls falling pregnant for the third time hoping to get R750.

People joke about it but my mom works with someone with that mindset. She's just gotten herself pregnant so she can afford the cellphone she wants. WTF is right.

Same thing with our domestic and the this girl that works for my Dad and the domestic we hire when we visit the wild coast, very little goes towards the kids but the taverns make a killing.
It's very common place.

Well said.

lol shocking? This story is true in almost every damn country across this planet. The school systems are also to blame, they don't teach kids jack. Sex educations should start at the age of around 6 or 7.

Kids are going to have sex no matter what, you just have to explain to them to use protection. Tell them the REAL reasons why, aka 1/4 has aids etc. Tell them the whole truth, "If you get pregnant at a young age, you will have trouble with x, y, z."

But we tend to BS the kids and they know it, we know it. Telling the kids to not have sex never works.

True that. It's one of the instances where attempting to treat the cause is absolutely ****ing ( :D ) useless, and treating the symptoms as well as society can manage is the only option. When the very cause is human nature, you can't hope to fight against it.

But crackpots will keep pushing abstinence, whilst flat-out ignoring the existence of condoms.
