SGS COD4 Frustration!!!

The admins at SGS are really starting to irratate me now.

I've been banned from playing on their servers and I can't seem to find out why.

I e-mailed them via their super special "ban query" system because according to my GUID, I'm clean, yet, I'm still banned!

Now I've sent numerious e-mails and the replies are all the same, that my GUID is wrong!

I've sent in screenshots and everything and yet, I'm still banned.

Hell, my post on SGS's forums has gone unanswered: LINK

Does anyone here know anyone of importantance at SGS so I can get this ban sorted.

Please guys, I really wanna play COD4 and I'd love it if someone who knows someone can help me out!
 
Wish I could help you out. :( Your only real option in the mean time is to play on the IS servers. Untill COD4 admins have been appointed you will have to wait it out or send an email every day querying your ban.

Sorry mate i checked your GUID as well and there is no active bans on it so soz.

Wish i could help more but there is not much what i can say or help, Will have to wait for the The Admins to get back to you.
 
its not a punkbuster auto kick or something? do you belong to a clan, some of the larger clans have admins that are able to lobby the correct admin on your behalf.
 
Are you sure you are getting your GUID while you are connected to a Punkbuster enabled server?

If you dont do it thisi way, I have heard that it generates a different GUID.

Log on to an IS server, then try get your GUID..

Other than that, I would say you have to wait for them to respond...you can always play on teh IS servers as well.....and there are a few others I have seen here and there
 
Yes, you have to be logged on to a PB enabled server. Log on to the IS server, like Gory51 said.

I also got banned. For 30 days! For 1 little swear word!!
 
I found out why I was banned.
I said "F"
*sigh*
30 days... wtf!
It's like the only game I play and now I can't play it... I could play it on IS but those servers are always empty :(
 
Play pickup on the IS servers.

I got banned for saying "John223 must stop f_cking camping!" :\ 30 days is a bit harsh me thinks!

Ok. @ sgs's ban query tool.. the toll only applier to Punkbuster bans... (i think) i also got banned for no valid reason(im sure i swore)... Not the age restriction on the game is 16+ and theres alot of violence.. So what does the work "***,Sh#t" come into to play as a hardcore offence... i got banned
because i said the word "penis." Now why would someone find that offence ? If they are under 16 and are going to burst out laugh at "penis" until they die, well. that just immature. These bans are getting out of hand. they should be abit more loose on the word bans... like only racial words, for instance "K@ff*r." Systems have to be in place and thats understandable but if they want their server to move foreward and be used alot over the next few months/years then they are going to have to make some changes...

Yeah, the SAIX bans are really retarded.

And if you say anything on their forums about it, the post gets deleted in like 10 seconds flat. SAIX loves censoring their users.

Yeah....... let's forget about the other people, over 16+, who don't want to see your swear words blasted onto global chat. :rolleyes:

Oh, and the "But the age restriction on the game is 16+" excuse is older than sand. There is no way that this can be monitored or enforced. Therefore there are rules regarding swearing.

Otherwise the servers would degenerate into a mess.

Personally I think anyone dumb enough to actually type out a swearword, in any game, on global chat gets what they deserve.

Say what you want, Toxin, but a 30 day ban for 1 swear word is not fair.
 
I have to admit, I think 30 days for swearing is a bit harsh.
Granted, I deserved a ban, but not for 30 days, maybe a week / I only swore outta frustration but ya.
Okay, I'm playing on IS servers...

And I do alot of 'chatting' to guys inbetween deaths

We rip each other off and such.
 
they should implement 180 days... see allot less swearing noobs ;)

I just don't get why they make such a fuss over swearing. As has been mentioned on this thread earlier, the game is rated 16+. Swearing shouldn't be an issue.
