Good day

so here is the story. . .

I want uncapped ADSL I went to Telkom about 5-6 times now, and thy asked them to install a ADSL Line where I live but the only time when they can help me is in 2016 so what I want to know is I live about 1km away from my mom and thy have a ADSL uncapped. What hardware can I use to share her bandwidth connection?

Maybe some Microtik wireless equipment, but bad weather will affect it and you'd probably need line of sight,is that possible?

A car - drive to your moms and plug in :)

Seriously your best bet is a WISP, check on the WASPA site for one servicing your area - http://waspa.org.za/

If there are no Telkom lines in your immediate area then its a WISP, but I'd first try ColinR's suggestion, but you'll need line of sight for that

1 km is not bad. Two Ubiquity Rockets can easily do the trick even with bad weather. The problem is that you must have CLEAR line of sight. Also good idea to use Outdoor cable as is better quality and it will last longer.

If you call the pros to do the job for you, you are going to pay at least R3000 for installation (R1500 each antenna) plus equipment. If you do it yourself, well... you just pay the equipment, but you have to make sure your installation is decent... Poles properly bolted, antenna secured, cables secured, etc...

Otherwise just get another type of connection that fits your pocket... LTE, Wireless Broadband, etc...
