From the name I thought it might be a package for a family where you could have multiple SIMs sharing a single pool of airtime, data and SMS. Still looking for something like that.

Doesn't Call Sponsor work like that?

No, sponsored calls don't come out of your bundled minutes, and sponsored SMSs are charged at full rates, even if both sponsored number and the sponsor have an SMS bundle.

The closest we have is Data Sim. It is available to contract subscribers (Excluding Top Up) through their Service Providers. Only subscribers on the standard contract packages qualify to have the Data SIM service. It will not be available on the following packages:

TopUp
Corporate 50 000
Vodacom Shared Talk
3G One
HSDPA Broadband

You can then have 1 sim in a modem and the other in your phone while feeding off the same data bundle. You can even have 1 for your Blackberry device should you need to.There are obviously Terms and Conditions surrounding the service.

Data SIM works very well, it shares the SMS and data bundles of the primary number. If only it could do voice as well. I've actually been considering putting one in my phone, and only using Fring to make calls.
