Sharing iTunes library between user accounts

I want to "share" my iTunes library with another user account.
However, I do not want user/s of the other account to be able to delete / rearrange anything.

Is this possible ?
If so, would it be a matter of applying permissions to the shared iTunes library folder or something more tricky ?

I think your biggest issues are probably going to be trying to restrict access, not because of folder / file permissions (that's fairly easy), but because I'm not sure if iTunes will deal well with limited permissions -- this part is for you to test.
