Sharks Supporters Thread

Then I have bad news for the sharks :p:D

Your kind isn't welcome here!! :p

In the Witness today there was an article about our inconsistency... Both Plum and Daniels seem to acknowledge that as one of our bigger issues. The problem is it's been happening for a few years :D

I'll always back the Sharks. Bigass fanboi here :D

I might not like you but damnit I respect you :p:D

Ugh, we don't need or want Victor Matfield in any form. Bloody Neanderthal... Anyway, News24 reports that he won't be playing for the Sharks.

This team will be great again. We just need to get rid of the prima-donnas and keep on blooding the youth by believing in them.

The kind who stand behind scrums and flap their arms like flightless birds? :D

I've come to the conclusion that unless a guy can score a hatrick while solving world peace and the unifying theory of everything, you're just not gonna like him...:D

I thought it would've been at least 4 to secure the bonus point??

Honestly it would've been nice to have his input with out lineout woes, but I'd say we either need to be able to sort this out in-house, or replace the guy that's coaching that area <-- not sure who it is... haven't checked :o

you are right, the sharks do not need Victor Matfield, they need a miracle (when it comes to the line outs:p)

That is kind of key yes :D

You don't like me??  *sniff*  :D
I haven't seen this in my readings, but which is your team Devill??

The Bulls.

Plumtree?

Maybe it is because nobody is doing it.

Plumtree: Hay bashford, you should really sharpen up the guys lineout training
Bashford: What lineout training? I thought Hugh was doing it?!

Well considering he played flanker and lock, it would kinda make sense. And considering that Bashy is about 5ft tall, he'd need one of those ladders on wheels to see what was going on...:D

Or stop trying to be elaborate until it's sorted out... just throw to the front :D

*cough* Wynand, that long black haired dude, Kirchner *cough*

The Bulls.

We all have our faults.... :p

That also made me laugh!!

I don't even agree with bringing Matfield back into the Boks or any other team. It doesn't make any sense.

All teams go through peaks and valleys in terms of their performance. Bringing back retired players does nothing for the confidence of the younger players who have been understudying them for a few seasons. In fact, if player performance is to be kept at its absolute peak, there should be no such thing as a guaranteed starting position for any player. If the supposedly better player thinks they are safe from being dropped they are not likely to be performing at their best. However, if they know there's a chance that they might not be in the starting lineup because of a young whipper-snapper who plays the same position, you bet they'll play better. Same goes for the whipper-snappers. If they have a sniff at making their senior counterpart look past his prime you bet they're going to take the opportunity.

What Natal needs are more whipper-snappers and it pains me that instead of bringing them in the way they did the Beast, Francois Steyn, Lwazi Mvovo, JP Pietersen and Patrick Lambie, they are looking to poach players from other unions. Doesn't buzz my budgie.

Could not agree more. Back to Basics.

Kirchner is having a grat season thus far (still does not make me like him) and Wynand is well.... Rugby Barbie :p
(I do not feel either belong in the Springbok team but for Super rugby they are more than usefull)

We all have our faults.... :p

Yes, yes winning is a big problem for some :D

It's funny how often this seems to be overlooked. Well it's either that or we don't know what's really happening onfield....

I don't know why I never took a liking to Zane. He plays well and all, but I just don't like the guy... not for that reason :)

Knew it would end up there, however you know what I meant :p :D

I took a look at the two team's lineups for this match... think it will be quite the clash if the Sharks bring their gamefaces...
As long as Lambie gives direction to the backs and Bis to the forwards, I think we should take this.

I would not be suprised if the Sharks pull off a win tomorrow as they do have a good line up.

Fix the Line outs, hope Lambie has a good game and that your centres hold up and you should win a close game.

That coaching team never was much of a dogs ass to begin with. The whole setup has to be booted because we have the players and no one can understand these losses so something is afoot.

I thought that this was one of the Sharks' better performances and losing to the top team thus far this year is not shameful.

I feel that the sharks are where the stormers were last year. They came close but just could not win the games that went down to the wire.

The sharks now have a very difficult road ahead.
