A better ref wouldn't have made much of a difference.

We just didn't pitch up. You can't say that we are playing the quality of rugby of the Stormers, Bulls or even Cheetahs this year and we're in decline. Something needs to change.

Some shocking reffing calls, absolutely, but our defence is tragically bad at the moment. A better ref might have had us achieve a bonus point for finishing within seven points but, unlike the Bryce Lawrence affair, the ref did not dictate the game with his calls...

Our first line defence is non existent these days. Too many missed tackles which puts the opposition on the front foot very quickly.

I agree with the ref but we have only ourselves to blame this past weekend. The game was there for the taking and our simple mistakes cost us in the end. One thing that gets to me... WHERE ARE THE TOUCH JUDGES? They are useless at their jobs! How they can not see forward passes when they are in line with the play is mind boggling. They need white cards!

Anyone heard anything about the fight and the players? That was disgusting. The NZ okes dont try to stop the fight but rather get stuck in. The one oke was uppercutting even! JP tried to stop one barny and got klapped himself. Disappointing from everyone involved.

I agree with this. I thought Kankowski was fairly accurate at half time in saying that we needed to get our structures back, both for attack And defense. That was SORELY lacking this last game... It seemed like no-one was sure of their place/tactics. While I think we are being hit with the most harsh bias so far in the S15, poor defense is our achilles heel right now.

I say this tentatively, but for me this also suggests lack of PROPER leadership when the actual onfield leaders (Lambie/Bis) are absent from the game. I agree with Mephisto on Jannie and Marius. I'm not sure where Jannie got his qualification from, but he certainly doesn't show much intelligence on the field - ala slapping Hurricane dude propogating mass hysteria onfield - and I don't recall the last time I saw him actually try breaking a tackle instead of just hitting the deck to try set up the next phase.

And as for Marius, he was supposed to be our solution to the lack of decent centre pairing. A winger is performing better than him and Whitehead is to me the best centre we've had in ages. I also have very little affection for Bosman as a centre, but feel he still does a better job as a replacement than Marius.

I realise this may be harsh on some of the guys who haven't necessarily played badly, but then look where we are on the log. This isn't the level to allow guys who play 'OK' to go forward.

I too would like to know the outcome of that citing HB... I think Jannie will probably come off the worst, even though technically the Hurricanes started it. Agree'd though... shocking display by those who fought!

Personally I will not subject my intelligence to ever watching a team from New Zealand playing rugby again. Don't care who the opposition is I just won't watch those scumbags cheat their way around the park.

I can't stand New Zealanders. It's like a whole nation of village idiots.

Their tendency to spoil the ball for the opposition is well known. Every game, any NZ team will do a professional foul at the ruck and not get blown for it. They lie on an offside position just long enough to not get blown for it. This style of play goes all the way to the All Blacks. Its a damn shame that the refs still continue to allow players to get away with murder.

Absolutely. They deliberately get in the way of where the ball is supposed to come out of the ruck, often between scrummie and flyhalf.

Sean Fitzpatrick was the worst of them, and yet they revere him like he was a God.

Well, Sharks v Blues just now. I hope we can make it 9 out of 9 against these guys. Hopefully I can stream it at work.

Blues player was on his knees and the detached 6 kicked the ball back through the scrum, that's how they won 'a tighthead' ........

Another week of blatant cheating! Blues pull out of a scrum engage, Walsh tells them to take the hit then lets them do it anyway and they score. I'm fast getting over this biased bullshyte.
