I still haven't found mention of Kockott being injured ........ I really hope this is not the Sharks starting to let talent get away through pettiness again

Last night i checked the official Sharks website, Rory's own website and the official Gauteng Sharks supporters site, nothing mentioned about an injury,
i reckon the coaching staff have really dropped him due to perfomance i suppose, if thats the case i fully disagree.

It astounds me that they have dropped Kockett and are forcing Ruan back into the No.9 ..... boggles the mind

My mom-in-law does some work at the Shark Tank and it seems the word is that he's been dropped

There is no explanation for this especially as he has been one a handful of players who have consistently performed and carried the team to many of their past successes.

There has been no obvious drop in form which I have seen and were it not for his injury he would still be the first choice No. 1! :(

The Sharks risk losing a good No. 9 and accurate goal kicker

I think an explanation or some sort of word from the franchise is well overdue.

That's why I made the comment on thread on Wednesday. I heard that he's been dropped and that Ruan would cover at scrumhalf and Dumont will cover at flyhalf/centre.

I'm also a Rory fan and feel that he has been hard done by with this selection.

Peter De Villiers mentioned in the Mercury today (I posted the link in the Ruan vs Morne thread) that he wants Ruan to play flyhalf in the Currie Cup. This could be a bit of an issue when we have obviously paid a fair bit to get Hernandez...

It would actually make sense though with Kockett and McLeod providing sufficient at scrumhalf. But not sure they could give either Hernandez or Pienaar enough game time with both playing one position.

Wherever they go with their selections I fear one or two big names will become casualties :(

Have the Cheetahs gone to sleep?

Hope I'm not speaking too soon, but if they don't wake up it will be a huge score!

they showed the boks training the other day before the all blacks clash and john smits legs looked chunky like he is overweight or something.
