But who was the brainiac that had both teams wearing very similar colour schemes? On TV it looked like the same team playing on both sides.

As for the game? Yeah, well... gotta give those wine drinkers some kind of hope, eh? :) I thought that the Sharks could have scored at least three other tries. Kicking at posts remains a problem - Lambie just isn't up to the task. The score and the result flatters the Stormers a lot, because they only played properly in the last 10 minutes.

Agreed. I was helluva confused watching 2 teams playing in white :(

And equally relieved it was only a practice game. :o :D

very silly stuff indeed. How did the players differentiate between their team mates ? jerseys were far too similar.
 
It's Sponser greed. It's pretty obvious they only really care on promoting their company, just like MTN. Both Lions and Stormers have their jerseys ruined by sponser selfishness. It's pathetic really. No-one can tell me that they actually look ok! I vote stormers jersey the ugliest of the new Super Rugby season, Lions come second.
 
Agree. Stormers kit looked less than impressive for a team/club as prestigious as they are.
 
Yay, start the season with a win .... over our bogey team nogal. And in the rain, nice one guys :D
 
I couldnt bloody find the thread with the search...I like our new shirts but R600? I got my blackburn shirt for that price from overseas.
 
Woohoo! WD Sharks!! Good to see they managed to see off the cheetahs who always cause upsets for us @ home...
 
Good win though sadly, it was the most boring game of the weekend to watch.
