Sharks Supporters Thread

Still a legacy of his rugby league.

I started a thread sometime back about Sonny Bill. Will be the best league convert ever.

btw 'Sonny' is actually his proper first name, not a nick name

So what you are saying is that any rugby league convert is permitted to shoulder charge? He knows it's not allowed, regardless.

Sonny Bill Williams not cited for the hit on Kankowski because the citing commissioner decided it was not a "Red Card Offence"

Utter BS. Just because it is not a Red Card Offence (Yellow at least) does not make it acceptable. Next week everybody will be taking cheap shots knowing that they have a very good chance of getting away with it. Unless you are a Saffa of course. Then you will have calls for public hanging coming from all over.

Boggles my mind but to be expected. The whole world was licking NZ arse because of the impending RWC and even more so now after the poor Crusaders/NZ were affected by the earthquake. Much arse licking and placating of the victims you know ;)

So I'm planning a trip down to Durban this weekend for the game, but they don't sell tickets over the phone.

The lady said there is no tickets available for the lower stands (eastern & western), is this always like this? Or does go to season ticket holders?

Those are the worst seats at KP. You should get tickets for the upper east stand quite easily. It's never full. That one has the best view of the turf.

You can just pitch up at the ticket office in the morning and you can get tickets then. I can't recall when last there was a sellout at KP. Even empty seats at the CC final last year.

On the money. If it had been a Saffer, it would have been a life time ban or worse. It's fr|gg|ng stacked against us. :(

Enjoy. It should be an epic clash. Bit worried about all the mileage the Sharks have had to pull off in the past week or so. I hope it doesn't count against them.

Poor game, no hunger in this Sharks feast sadly. Without Lambie we're pretty half-baked. Just shows how much he adds. Three losses in a row aint very good :( Potgieters kicking is really really ****.

I love mega-negative (supposed) supporters ...... they always get egg on face at some point

Great win for the Sharks. Tired they were. But still enough sap in them to get the 4th try. Their break is deserved.

And they got 28 more points against the Crusaders than the Bulls did :D

Nobody is happier than me about that one! :D

I still think that we have some problems with our patterns of play and I still don't like the way Bismarck Du Plessis plays. He's going to have to do much better than that to convince me that he is as good as everyone thinks he is. Watch him in the tackle situation. Hopeless. Goes in upright and never orientates himself correctly, which means that he takes longer to recycle the ball, thus slowing down play considerably.

I still say we are miles better than the last 4 results have shown, but it's good that we lost those three games. Pressure is off now and we can play our games more freely. I reckon the Stormers are going to come down harder than we did when they are on tour.

I hope you weren't talking about me. While I'm glad that our boys smacked the Lions good and proper I'm merely pointing out that defeating them is not an achievement. I'm sure this is something we can all agree on. How many games do the Lions win in a season... 2?

At least it demonstrates though that the Sharks haven't completely fallen apart after there recent terrible performances. I was really starting to worry about them.

After the bye I think they'll be far stronger moving forward. We'll get a few of those injured crucial players back.
