Wtf is up with this Craig Joubert (Touch Judge) ... first he says Kockott has to get a red for a vicious punch when the replay shows it's a flattie slap and then he pings Daniel for a spear tackle and the replay shows it's not in the slightest a spear tackle  Stupidd arse!

At least we won and the two tries we got were from attacking not defending ......

Yes, it's almost as Craig Joubert is worried about seeming to be biased, so he points out Shark's indiscretions, and ignored Highlander ones. As was evidenced in the studio discussion after all the games, where Darren Scott showed a few Highlander high tackles that went unpunished.

I would've also slapped the person who deliberately pushed my face in the ground.

Yes, we scored some tries from attacking play. Pity we made so many knock-ons again :(

yep, that has me a wee bit worried too ...... dunno why we seemingly have decided not to hold onto the ball lately

I read a stat recently and I think it said that Kockott and Steyn have the most number of handling errors in the S14 this season. Bismark is trying his best to beat them.

a 90kg scrummy floors a 6ft5in 112Kg flank with a open handed biatch slap back hand!

Adam John Thomson, this is for you

Yeah. But I suppose Thomson did well in falling immediately.

Remember a few years ago when Big Joe van Niekerk got a slap on the ear when playing for the Springboks? He thought about it for a bit and then collapsed as if he had been shot. Ref told him to get up and get on with the game.

unlucky, really enjoy the game he plays.

Gonna make Bok side predictions interesting.

To be honest, I'm not his biggest fan anymore. Somewhere along the line, he has lost the spark he had last season and the season before that.:(

Poor decision making, taking the ball in too many times and the line breaks have dried up, yes I know he gets analyzed by the opposition, but surely that's not the reason for his performance.

I remember Habana also having a very lean spell after the opposition closed him down.
I like Steyn cause he seems capable of almost anything, and drop goals from the halfway line are awesome!

Each coach seems to have their own opinion of where he should or should not play, must make it difficult for him to settle in a position/role.

Still, great things to come from such a young talent yet.

Gautengers, why not join the local Sharks Supporters Clubs? I signed up for the Pretoria chapter... It is fun walking around Pretoria in a Sharks shirt, especially when the Bulls lose. A trip is being organised to watch the Bulls game in Durban on 16 May. Luxury bus, 2 nights accommodation and game ticket for R1050.

Thats not a bad deal seeing as the ticket = +- R100 ; bus = R700 there and back.

PS Hope pienaar has a great game so that he can show us all why he is suppose to be the next bok flyhalf

It seems Brad Barritt has returned from Saracens to replace steyn.

Very good news indeed.

Hmm, I dunno .. if he's in form and has managed to fit in at training, then ok, he might be a help. I never thought he was that good when he was with us though so I don't know why everyone is carrying on like he's some returning God

Apart from that, I think we have a fairly capable team to beat the Waratahs tomorrow -

15. Stefan Terblanche
14. Odwa Ndungane
13. Adrian Jacobs
12. Brad Barritt
11. JP Pietersen
10. Ruan Pienaar
09. Charl McLeod
08. Ryan Kankowski
07. Jean Deysel
06. Jacques Botes
05. Johann Muller ( C )
04. Steven Sykes
03. Jannie du Plessis
02. Bismarck du Plessis
01. Tendai Mtawarira

Replacements
16. John Smit
17. Deon Carstens
18. Albert van den Berg
19. Keegan Daniel
20. Monty Dumond
21. Riaan Swanepoel
22. Luzuko Vulindlu

The performance gets worse by the week, lots of individualistic play, knock ons, not much else.

So the weather, lackluster playing, bad reffing and absolutely shocking calls by the TJ and good 'ol Shaun Veldsman (our favourite TV ref) end our season .... barring mathematical BS. Lovely stuff

Very disappointing end to the Sharks Super14 campaign... I can only assume some of the top players are thinking about the challenges the Lions pose and not focusing on doing the job at hand...
