Sharks Supporters Thread

This shall be the last post for me today ...

It was a good win by the Sharks over a spirited Lions team. Despite the scoreboard, I cannot help but feel that the Lions left the field feeling the prouder of the two teams.

If we have to play the Bulls in the semi and WP in an away final, I cannot help but worry about their chances.

The Lions could easily pull off a major upset over WP and I wouldn't bet against it. So LancelotSA, I think you might get your prediction here.

My gut feel is that Griquas will probably be the biggest loser after such an awesome start to their campaign. I feel for them. With everything to gain (home final, etc), I think the Sharks will come away with the win ... and hopefully with a bonus point to.

This is going to be a gr8 weekend of rugby. Go Leopards!

Was a really tight game, the Lions played really well, but they always do but end up on the other side of the scoreboard. Certain individuals in their team really do put a hand up and get noticed Doppi's is 1 of them. Rose had a good first half as well. Its going to be tight this weekend, but Im also hoping the Lions can pull off an upset. They want to finish on a high even though they wont be in the mix for semi's contention. Girqua's wont be any easier for us as well, they still got a chance to make it into the top 4 they will be played their heart out. so in full agreement with McT

What an awesome team. They have the potential to wipe any team on their day ... even international sides. But this is the crunch end of the tournament. Do they have BMT to finish off a fine season?

Go LIONS! Go Sharks!

lol, dig the sig McT ;)

yeh was watching Boots n all last night, they're right, Griqua's last hope of reaching the semi's so its obvious they going to come out all guns blazing, lets hope we're ready for them!

Couple of my mates in the office are staunch WP supporters and aren't taking my support club for the Lions to kindly. Do I care? Being born and bread on the East Coast, I have tunnel vision!!!

5 points in the bag!!

Now..... GO LIONS!!! Or if you are going to lose then at least just prevent the WeePees from scoring 4 tries!

Tough on Griquas - they had a good season and, but for one or two stupid decisions along the way, they should have been in the semi's.

Lovely match.. and yes now I'm wholeheartedly supporting the Lions to well and truly trounce WeePee like they deserve.

Some absolute flashes of brilliance in the match IMO ...... good to see the Sharks get some lively stuff going :D

Must be the first time ever that every Sharkie is supporting the Lions! GO LIONS!!!!

I have to admit that WP have always been bottom of the heap in terms of my support so even if the result had no effect on us I'd still be more keen on the Lions winning....
