I got a Sharp 902 on Vodacom back in 2005. Seemed pretty much marketed back then.

Sure, they did market one or two models with Vodafone (and therefore Vodacom) back then but you must realise that Sharp is the leading cellphone
manufacturer in Japan and their phones are superior to what we have in the West. We may see some models come through, the way the 920sh has been
ported to Taiwan, HK and recently China. I think this is very exciting news.

Look at the specs and the quality of these handsets:

At least some of us won't have to rely on hacked phones. The worst thing they could do
though is release a watered down line for the West - much like the boring Nokia/Sagem/SE/HTCs that we get. Hopefully they won't.

I can see the beginings of a Sharp fanboi club. Which means more emotional ranting about whose is bigger... sorry, I mean better :p

I don't really mind all the banter, it just makes it impossible to find the actual bits of useful information in amongst the dross. And you dare not ask an intelligent question, because you will be mistaken for a rival fanboi, and shredded for not believing.
