I must tell you that this man is the main reason that I am still with Iburst. He has been a valuable contact at the group since I joined in 2004.

I think he should take over the company.

All good and well but...

...you should not need to go to Shaun with all your iBurst requirements. The normal service desk is supposed to be adequate enough to resolve issues.

The fact that people are resorting to contacting Shaun or Ed to resolve issues is a clear indication of a lack of skills or commitment in key areas of the business...
 
yeah i 2nd that the green machine is all that stands between me and the dark side, master jedi, no doubt...
 
I very much agree, even though iBurst is now basically a big steaming pile of dog doo doo, Shaun was exemplary when I had the torrent issues. He even downloaded the ISO of Ubuntu for me and had it sent to me at work. It's a pity he doesn't run the whole place :)
 
I am not sure whether he is still there or not, but for a fact, the guy helped out whenever he could, regardless of him being so sick he could hardly speak...

The mere fact that the man is registered on this site, speaks volumes for his character, should he not be with them anymore, they REALLY lost out.

If he is, keep it up, and shaun if you don't know who i am, try and remember the guy from Pirtek in Modderfontein a year or 2 back...

I still LOVE the man... a real, hard working and decent guy, which is a lot more that i can say for the service itself.

He went "missing" shortly after Ed left.
