Shaving

Mach 3 for me, every other day, beard grows really fast and tough, but the blades seem to last me a long time. When I change them though it feels amazing, but they are pricey so I use a blade for about 3 months!

The best part about the mach 3 is how easily the hair can be rinsed from the blade...

Is she a bear? I am yet to meet a girl that actually likes stubble other than on a model in a photograph.

ROFL ... a bear! I just can't stop laughing about that one. Personally don't like stubble confirming that I don't belong to the Ursidae family (had to look up scientific name for bear :D).

I hung up my mach 1 about 5 years ago.

I bought some clippers - and thats how i shave.

Clippers are much better than razors, clippers give you a permanent 2 day, unshaved look. Clipper are much quicker, more convenient, and last for donkeys years.

Clippers all the way.

Wet shave, ONCE a week. I have very sensitive skin so I can't shave every day. I use Mach 3 and the Mach shaving Gel, not foam.

Because I shave once a week only, I shave "downwards" and "upwards" for a really smooth shave that lasts a few days.

I prefer a wet shave with the mach3 turbo every 3 to 4 days .... I use my phillishave when I travel .... but don't like the phillishave as it does cause irritation after a few days of use. Also, you do have to change blades on the phillishave as well, every couple of months for me anyways :)

Life is just too short for a daily shave, and I'm too lazy.

I use a Wahl to trim my beard and moustache every two weeks or so.

Everything else is left to nature.

I've used a mach 3 since i can remember. So it's the only shaver i really know. I tried using an electric, cause well, i'm lazy. But i spent twice the time getting half as close shave. I've recently tried the shick quattro, my brother too. He likes it, i find i get a closer shave with a blunt mach 3 blade.

Back to mach3 for me i guess :/

Wahl clippers for me too.
I Follow rpm's strategy. Walk around until everybody starts looking funny at you then sneak past the clippers.
less than 2 minutes later and you're done :D
Havent owned a razor in yonks. Dont plan on getting one soon either.

Using clippers the whole time doesn't irritate your skin?

lol @ T_L, I wanted to say something to that effect but was being polite. But mainly i think it's because i'm as good with clippers after all these years as any of you with a razor. Dont trust them things....

Shaved enough in the army. Sometimes twice a day. Bugger that, now I do it when i want to

Wet shave only. No dry stuff. That's kuk for my baby soft sensitive skin. :)
And every couple of days, till I get some stares or people start offering to buy me blades :D

We must be twins :D

Wet here as well, dry causes skin irritation for me. Cream of choice is Gilette shaving gel.

Used to use Mach3, but recently changed to the new Schick's (the one with the 4 edges on each blade, as opposed to the Mach3's 3 edges). Blades are about R90 for 8, they seem to remain sharper for longer and give the same (if not better and smoother) results as Mach3. Good thing about Mach3 is it's probably the easiest razor to clean, other than that it's reputation is based on marketing - there are better products out there.
