She said yes!

Congrats duder ... this will bring you more frustration and happiness than anything else in the world! Bye bye boring life...

Enjoy it... things will sure be getting interesting. :)

Sound advice : forgive and forget, no matter what. It is not worth it to remember your spouse's faults and mistakes, rather forgive and forget those, and focus on the positive things.

Good luck, and enjoy it!

Thanks for the advice, I'll definitely try and keep that in mind. Fortunately my memory sucks horribly, so forgiving and forgetting shouldn't be an issue ;)

Hope not. If not, resurrect it, please. We need some closure...:D

I recall Blu deleting all her posts and leaving in a huff because nobody agreed with her.
Will be tough to find as Blu has created so many threads.

I still think you're *******s for not understanding that it's not OK to treat one's father like some ****ty ATM.

:)
Yup, you're so over that now.

Absolutely. She now understands how the wind blows - at great cost to herself.

Why do I have to repeat myself to you so often? Could it be the effect of all that microwaved food on you? :D

I can see that you're totally over the whole thing, you don't get upset about it at all.
No need to repeat anything. ;)

Conratts mate, very well done.

That's what myself and the missus are doing, elope to Mozambique to get married on the beach then off to Morocco for honeymoon.

Just be sure to speak to your lawyer beforehand if you intend getting married in a foreign country. You get married in another area's jurisdiction, you may end up regretting not checking this out beforehand...

to the OP: congrats!

Eish now you are going to do that horrible wedding thing good luck...
Lots of calmets and firght for you....

Congratz my advise: Magistrate court.

The wedding's her baby completely. She's been dreaming about it since a kiddy and frankly, as long as I don't look like a buffoon, I couldn't be arsed what the venue and things look like. She wants the classical white wedding, so I don't have to be afraid of her trying to stand out of the crowd by doing something crazy.
