Shocking speeds?

Anyone else having shocking speeds with sudden spikes to full speed on international? If I download local I get full speed tho! :( (Durban area)
 
Apparently there was some exchange problem on Friday (that's why I sat without a line at all on Friday), so I wouldn't be surprised if it's some left over effect of that.
 
I am in Kuils River, Cape Town and my international is down or very slow. Local is fine.
 
Yup, Telkom said "general connectivity issues" and reporting it wont really do anything, how cheeky of them... :eek:
 
WoW is laggy as hell. Just as well we finished Ulduar in 2 days xD
 
Sigh, and I just got my 4Mb line yesterday! :(

This is exactly what I get too. I did a test last night, using speedtest.net - measured speed to Orlando, Florida at 18:00 (2.5mbps), 19:00 (1.2mbps) and 20:00 (45kbps).

I'll do the same test tonight again - but it would be great if others could do the same. I'm on an Axxess account.
 
Yes - with speedtest.net to the Orlando, Florida test site.

I'm going to try the same thing again tonight and I'll post the results.

As you can see, results are inconclusive. Although it's not as fast as I would like, it's not nearly as bad as it was last night!
 
back to unbearable again on my end, whats going on here, yesterdya was fine! :(
 
Yes - agreed - yesterday was fine - now it is terrible again.

I wish there was someone with an answer! Somebody out there must know what's going on.
 
Telkom says international isnt their responsability and then the guy gave me some 08600 7249 number which didnt work (must have missed a digit) to phone for international issues.... sigh, at least Im nottotally alone, if this happens tomorrow again Im going to ask for a refund on my 4Mb line since it hasnt been working for 2/3 days Ive had it! :mad:
 
Terrible is an understatement, I am getting big chunks of time with essentially no throughput as well.
 
Monday = terrible speeds
Tuesday = Great!
Wednesday = Terrible speeds!!
Thursday = Great!
Friday = Terrible speeds!!!!!

whats goin on here?!?!?!?! :mad:

Same here in Durban. Sabotage I hear, pay dispute crap.
 
on IS. Disgusting speeds cant get more than 40kb on international. Anyone else?
