How much do shocks generally cost for a normal hatch back car?

I can't seem to find prices anywhere online, they tell you about them, tell you when you need to replace them but no mention of pricing.

front and rear?

I guess depending on price I might either do front first or rear first.
Since I've got the car, I've never done it, and I just feel like it's time to do them because I can really FEEL going over bumps these days.

I'm going to query at Renault on Wednesday about if I need shocks, but Renault will obviously charge me a fortune, I'm going in on Wednesday to send my car for diagnostics check.

Phone SupaQuick and ask. They tend to differ between some vehicles, and greatly so.
My Merc's (W203) shocks cost me like R8000, but the previous version (W202) were like R4500.

Just less than R2k at Barden tyres for a citiGolf.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know... so at least now I have a general idea of what too expect.

Does not help you as it all depends on the car you have, could just as easily be R8k for your specific car.

It's basically one size fits all for similar sized passenger cars. I doubt there's a specific one for your model.

Not really. Depends if it's local or not. May need to replace my sirion's shocks. First time the price was eye watering.
