Shocks Pricing...

It's basically one size fits all for similar sized passenger cars. I doubt there's a specific one for your model.

Lol... thats rich. There are specific dampers for most of all cars. Different viscosity ratings in the oil different seal pressures different mounting fixtures different travel increments do I need to carry on?

Get a price from midas on the parts before you go to any fitment centre. After they quote you parts and labour advise them you already have the shocks and ask a quote for fitment only.

Honda Jazz R2600 for the front two fitted, and I got a "good deal". Most places were R3k and up. Honda were R6k.

Thing is those oem ones are better than the aftermarket ones. oem are by kyb/kayaba, local distribution is crap though.

For my 2004 Polo Supa Quick quoted me R2000, Speedy R2100 and HiQ R1600(Brand, Gabriel).....Thanks to the person who suggested HiQ I was gonna go with SupaQuick and now I will be saving myself R400.

Not in the slightest.

Manufacturers get specific dimensions made up to suit their car normally.

My Merc was about R8k for all 4, My golf4 was about R4k, my Mazda DC is about R3.5k for all 4 (if I go with the standard ones)

Best suggestion yet.
