I got my first pair of Docs in 1977 when I was 11 years old and have had a few pairs over the years. But these Docs now are so paper thin you’re lucky if they last a year or two before the leather rips.

They are super long-lasting, or at the least the older ones I've got were built to last. Got 2 pairs still going, one 13 years old and the other 19 years old.
