Run away
Do a 5 second search on google and it'll reveal a few very unhappy and how 5k-less people on www.hellopeter.com, who paid money to an imaginary company in the UK.

Too good to be true = too good to be true.

I saw the GOOGLE responses... but playing the e-mail game with them :) I can buy direct from CANON, so I am awaiting a quote from them. Shop2Easy just seems... "2 Easy" :)

Lol, how stupid can people get???

We also have the same problem with Shop2Easy. 'bought' a canon camera on the 50% sale (Thursday). We were never told that they did not have stock. The next day we got an email from SenditEasy saying that the camera had arrived and would be delivered at 2pm on Fri 12th, waited all day but no delivery. Saturday morning SenditEasy emailed us and said we had to pay R3550 for tax and clearance. Unfortunately, we did pay. Later the same day we were told to pay R2500 for the clearance certificate. Unfortunately, we did pay. Monday morning we were told to pay another R4000 for storage and insurance. Unfortunately like we paid and were PROMISED by Lucas (SenditEasy) that the camera would be delivered within 4 hours, no delivery was made. Yesterday (Tuesday) we were told by Lucas (SenditEasy) that Shop2Easy told them not to release the package. It seems that Shop2Easy ordered another 2 cameras as well as ours and it is all in one parcel with customs, and they now want a deposit from us to make sure that we return the extra items that were sent from the UK. The strange thing is we contacted their supoosed company in the UK and to our amazement it does not exist.

I got a responce on my question of stock, yes items are in stock and delivery time is 6 - 8 hours after order is placed! Going to let them "stew" over nice and send an e-mail stating that I will purchase only if it is C.O.D. :D

They still have not replied to my last e-mail, but I bought my 550D this morning anyway, got a decent price (could have got better direct from Canon, but they had no stock)

Got the twin lens bundle with the KATA bag (really nice) and a 8Gb card, spent a little more and got an extra battery, 16Gb high speed card and a remote trigger (the Canon RS-60E3) have ordered the extended battery pack , and will buy a flash a little later (will try one of my fathers flashes to see if they work) and now have to dig out my tripod and other old SLR equipment :)

Ouch! They took you on quite the roller coaster ride.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that Juggy posted that from somewhere else, most probably HelloPeter, and that isn't his story. Hence the first line.

I know the person who wrote this. This was quoted from Hellopeter.com. And for your information Juggy they are not stupid people. I know for a fact that they checked out the company before paying out all that money. Did a fraud check, address check and at the time all was legit. It is only now that they want a refund from Shop2Easy for non delivery of goods that Shop2Easy are not communicating with them. Fortunately for them they managed to block their FNB account thru Fraud Risk Management (not so stupid now)
