If you want to participate constructively, then please do so - you would soon see that we the customers, as well as Vodacom, all benefit from constructive debate, also note that constructive does not mean that you cannot criticise Vodacom, constructive means not being a pathological liar like Skeptik is, and not attacking fellow forumites, it also means concentrating on actual facts instead of punting baseless conspiracy theories.

I don't want to get involved in this, but you did actually admit to being involved with beta testing Vodacom's "meep" service, maybe your interpretation of work is different to mine, but it does sound like you both denied doing any work for Vodacom whilst simultaneously beta testing "meep". Were you perhaps subcontracted for the meep work by a company other than Vodacom? - IOW, were you indirectly working for Vodacom?
Must I take this as a "We don't give that sort of information out"?

Yes, you're right in a sense. I got feedback on your request and have been trying to get a better understanding on how to answer you properly without it looking like I'm ducking the question.
There is no single, total number published and apparently these numbers can be tied (via specific regulations), to key performance criteria which the networks deem competitive info.
So the numbers themselves are probably not that sensitive, but what they can tell about OTHER numbers seems to be.
Suffice to say, I stopped counting the number of zeros (in just some of the numbers I saw) after 6.
